About the Author

Liam H. Clark is a historical fencer with a focus on renaissance-era German fencing traditions, specifically the work of Joachim Meyer. He has been practicing since 2016, first in Denver at both Krieg School and Denver Historical Fencing Academy, Lonin in Seattle, and now organizing the Evergreen Historical Fencing study group. He holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Denver, and is a professional educator teaching adult learners daily. Creating positive and engaging learning environments is a particular passion of his, which he honed teaching high school science to diverse student bodies and through diverse media. Liam can be found posting too many .gifs of swords on the HEMA Discord and brewing another cup of coffee between work meetings.
